About Me

Rachel De Leon is a prose writer with a passion to help other fellow writers improve their craft and tell their stories. She received her Bachelor’s in Creative Writing from the University of North Texas and then moved to Lubbock and completed her Master’s in English from Texas Tech University. During her time at Tech, she taught college rhetoric to first-year freshmen and was an assistant editor for the Iron Horse Literary Review. After graduating, she continued teaching rhetoric and composition before becoming a senior academic advisor for college students at Texas Tech. She is currently working on her own fantasy series along with an assortment of personal essays and short stories.

Rachel is also currently working on receiving her Certificate of Editing from the University of Chicago.
